This is a video I made a while ago when I was learning special effects. I did this on a bluescreen and Chroma Keyed it to separate from the background. The head explosion effect I did using an old program called ‘Particle Illusion’ which was a standalone program for particle effects. I then took that into After Effects and frame by frame masked over the neck cross-section part which I built in full 3D using eRain Swift 3D program. Arterial Spray etc also created using Particle Illusion. Final edit / grading & Sound production done in Adobe Premiere Pro.
