Bushcraft Survival – Wild Camping – 2018
Join me (Andy) Olly and Dan for our 2018 Bushcraft wild camp weekend!
I like to get away at least a few times a year on our bushcraft / survival wild camps. Last years bushcraft wild camping was such a great time so I was really looking forward to this 2018 camp.
This years bushcraft camp was in a new location. All we knew about the new location were the GPS coordinates. Unlike our previous bushcraft camps, this location had no facilities at all. No water, no toilet, no nothing.
I took along my Aquaroll water carrier which can carry 40 litres of fresh water. It is designed in a way so that you can roll the water carrier along, even on rough ground. Other than the Aquaroll (and some filming equipment), our rules are that whatever we’re taking, we’re carrying, so everything else must fit into our backpacks. This already poses a challenge. Last year we had a 4 mile hike too so weight is always a concern when it comes to pack load-out choices.
Here are some links to the equipment / products I mention during this episode:
Gerber Folding Knife (DMF 3.5” Black Serrated)
